Guest guest
Anyone know anything about this? This law (if passed) would drastically affect herbs and supplements in Canada. Could it happen in the U.S.? I found this link. http://www.NaturalNews.com/023121.html Just more on the herb front... It's hard to believe but I STILL think Big Pharma has us in their sights. Guest guest
C-51 does propose sweeping new language, and it indeed could have negative repercussions for herbal meds and supplements. I'd consider this the 'trial balloon' stage of the Bill - if there is enough hue and cry, it will discreetly die...and if there is no squawk, it will walk. Could this happen in the US? The question comes a little late! It may just be the recent successful inroads of the US FDA that have stimulated the proposal of C-51 in Canada. Best regards, David Kailin, Ph.D., M.P.H., L.Ac. Could it happen in the U.S.?...My worm on a hook to see if some discussion about this topic could be generated... hmm... nothing to see here...move along... As I said, nice to know you are out there... please keep us informed of any developments that you think important. I wish I had the time and resources to devote to the subject full time. I still think a more aggressive nat.l org is called for... but that's just me... dr.w > C-51 does propose sweeping new language, and it indeed could have > negative repercussions for herbal meds and supplements.
