Guest guest
Phil, Mu Xiang is always 6 grams or under. Sheng Jiang usually about the same. I'm one of those that writes the granular formulas the same as the raw. Guest guest
Hi Doug, & All, Re treating heartburn / nausea in people on granulars (according to Al, rare side-effects, due more to trepidation / psychosomatic factors rather than to the granulars themselves), Doug wrote: > I am using Muxiang and Shengjiang more and more for this issue. (1) Doug, as granulars, or as dried or raw herbs? At what daily doses each for adults? (2) As a rough estimate of dosage, am I correct in using the following ratios for herbal medicinals whose fresh moisture content is 75-80% (i.e. whose dry matter content is 25-20%): Fresh Herb XX = 100 units Dried Herb XX = 27.5 units 5:1 Conc Extract = 5.5 units So, if the daily dose of fresh ginger is, say, 3-10g, the doses of dried Hb would be circa 0.82-2.75g and of 5:1 conc extract would be 0.17-0.55g?
