Guest guest Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 As Western examples of such higher knowledge based on personal experience (i.e., spiritual exercises or experiments) , I would point to Theresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross whose faith was certainly not evidence-less. bob- i couldnt agree with u more- and the only reason im going to respond to this is that i have a half hour bt patients and just drank a grande tim hortons coffee- my only fault with your response is - why do people still think that these christian mystics' experiences were so valid and spiritual and discount the more recent psychedelic experience of today- i think that eating a gram or 2 of amanita muscaria and seeing Rusted root in concert is is just as valid as theresa and st john- of course i realize that this isnt your point- so im going to shut up and not respond to anymore CHA for another year or 2 “Dissent without resistance- is consent†HDT Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
