Guest guest
Robert, I asked because I had a patient who had severe varicose veins, which actually became worse with treatment. She was a 60 year old tall female with blood stasis caused by underlying blood vacuity, kidney yin and yang vacuity and mild spleen qi vacuity . I treated her for about 3 months using herbs, acupuncture and moxa with little benefit. The bleeding acually made the varicosities worse, and the Yunnan Bai Yao applied as compresses did not affect change. Also her toes were curled, and her big toes were severely deformed, which she called " hammer toes, " The only positive development that she admits is that now for the first time in many years, her toes are not cold, but they still are deformed and highly sensitive to touch. The varicosities are itchy and swollen, and she is particularly swollen around the area of Kd 3, more on the left side, but also on the right. I found the formula you mentioned in Manual of Dermatology in . Can you tell me your experience with that formula applied as a plaster. Thanks, Yehuda PS. I'm interested in attending your one day seminar in LA coming up in a couple of weeks, is it still open? --- On Tue, 7/1/08, Robert Chu <chusauli wrote: Robert Chu <chusauli Re: Jing Wan Hong-uses other than burns?
