Guest guest
Listen, CHA still has the policy of not being a bulletin board for events. Anyone half connected locally should know about your event. If You are doing something then you must write in personally about what you are doing or something that you know of that is exceptional. No prices but give us contact information. No " press releases " . It must be unique posting to CHA. I've let some things by but also cancelled a lot of posts as well. That being said here is some (edited by me) info from cm-db.com. Sabine Wilms'special lectures will be held in Portland, OR. on September 13th & 14th, 2008, and also in Boulder, CO. on September 20th & 21st. Cosmology, Philosophy & Medicine: " Nurturing the Fetus " in Early Medieval China (Day 1), Women's Pathology and Therapy In Early Medieval China (Day 2). Each two day lecture is NCCAOM certified for 13 PDA's. Dr. Wilms is a specialist in the translation of Classical Gynecology texts, and she brings a unique understanding to the inter workings of Chinese medicine through her study of the Classics. This is a lecture you are not going to want to miss. Dr. Wilms believes in keeping lectures small and intimate, so that participants can ask the questions that they have about Sun Si Miao, the Bei Ji Qian Jin Yao Fang, and other texts that are vitally important to the understanding of Classical Gynecology, such as the Ishimpo, the Wai Tai Mi Yao, and the Tai Chan Shui.
