CHA Member,

I have a pt with MS suffering from extreme foot pain. I am seeking

advice for an herbal foot soak (or other recommendations) that have

been found useful. The pain qualities indicates a neurological issue,

but I am still hoping some kind of local treatment may help. Any

suggestions? The diagnosis is LV/KD yin vacuity with internal wind and

phlegm.

Thanks you for any help you can offer,

Dave V

Hi Dave,

I have seen St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) both internally as a tincture

and externally as an oil or tincture have a significant impact on this type of

pain.

This function/indication seems to be have omitted from the monograph in my

book....got to leave something for those conferences I will get invited to teach

at...:-)
