Guest guest
Hi - I hope this is an appropriate question for this forum. I'm a student of TCM currently studying auricular theory. There seem to be quite a few claims of clinically verified trials that demonstrate the validity of the accepted maps used for ear acupuncture. However, when I look deeper into the subject, I find that most of the evidence is based on the work of one or two researchers, and has not been replicated. I have also found clinical trials that counter the accepted versions of the ear maps: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17906600?ordinalpos=2 & itool=EntrezSystem2.PEn\ trez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18068545?ordinalpos=18 & itool=EntrezSystem2.PE\ ntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Does anyone know of other clinical trials that demonstrate the validity of the accepted maps? Or if this request is not appropriate to this forum, could you please direct me to a forum, mailing list, BBS, etc where this line of questioning is more appropriate? Your help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Daniel
