Guest guest
Hi Steve, It seems that this Dr Huang Huang is all the buzz right now. My colleague, Lorne Brown, just returned from the same course as you and is speaking very highly of the experience. Lorne had posted some video clips and had been blogging about the course on the chinese medicine tools website. I believe the link for the video is here: http://chinesemedicinetools.com/videos/huang/chinese-medicine-is-not-a-religion-\ dr-huang-huang I would love to study with Huang Huang myself, as he seems to have a very clinically applicable style of teaching, which is very important to me. I am hoping to see the whole video series of the 8 day program when they are done. I heard you may be up in Vancouver soon. I hope you are able to swing by our clinic for a visit. Guest guest
Hi Alon, I talked to Lorne today and he informed me that Sharon Weizenbaum and himself are currently trying to figure when and how to properly share the videos of the Huang Huang course. Lorne was thinking that they may be available sometime in late fall, but he couldn't say for sure. Lorne did say that he will put up a few more free clips on the Chinese medicine tools website over the next few weeks. http://chinesemedicinetools.com/ Trevor http://chinesemedicinetools.com/--- In , alon marcus <alonmarcus wrote: > > Does anyone know if the a video of the course is going to be available? > > > > 400 29th St. Suite 419 > Oakland Ca 94609 > > > > alonmarcus >
Guest guest
Members, Please give any details about how to get (or when it will come out) the Dr Huang Huang video. Also, can anyone recommend any other DVDs, where to get them, etc. I would love to start watching DVD's of great practitioners. Hint, Hint, many of you members! Guest guest
Hi Dave, You can find a lot of different video/ audio distant learning material at http://www.prodseminars.com/. I believe if Dr Huang Huang's class becomes available it will most likely be there. Guest guest
It's clear that these web distant learning programs are going to be a major force in continuing education for CM professionals. Blue Poppy is a pioneer of course. Rootdown dot com is trying to build up a library, Al Stone has at least one course and is working on others. There are many advantages to the " live net " model and are that unlike the " you get a book and a CD in the mail " are fewer copyright issues. The disadvantages seem to include that the information is lost once your session is over. A big growth industry and not without its problems and possibilities.
