Exact locations of Dong's( Tung's) Pts Zhongbai & Xiabai

Hi Phil,

1. I would like to call Tung's points, understand it is a different translation.

2. Zhongbai ( center white or ghost gate) : zhongbai (22.06) is located 0.5 cun

posterior to SJ3 (zhongzhu).

3. xiabai (lower white): 1.5 cum proximal to the metacarpophalangeal joint, 1.0

cun poseterior to zhongbai (22.06).

yes, both point are between 4th and 5th metacarpal bones. they are dao ma points

Exact locations of Dong's Pts Zhongbai & Xiabai

 

 

Hi All,

 

Relative to SJ03, where are the exact locations of Dr Ting's / Dong's

Pts Zhong-bai & Xia-bai?

 

My notes on the locations of these points are contradictory.

 

SJ03 Zhongzhu - Central Islet

Location: on hand dorsum, between MC bones 4-5 in hollow just prox to

MCP joints, [prox to heads of MC bones]

 

Zhongbai Dong Pt 22.06 (aka Guimenxue) - Central White (aka Ghost

Door Pt)

Location: on hand dorsum, on SJ Channel, between MC bones 4-5, 0.5 "

distal to their prox heads & circa 0.5 " prox to SJ03; Will Morris

says Zhongbai is at same place as (viz =) SJ03;

 

Xiabai (NOT same Pt as LU04) Dong Pt 22.07 - Lower White;

Location: on hand dorsum, ??near SJ03, between metacarpal bones 4-5,

1.5 " from MCP junction;

Hi Christine,

What do you mean by " posterior to " ? In my mind, the point is either

distal to or proximal to a pt. or location. Do I assume you mean that

zhongbai is 0.5 cun proximal to SJ3?

That's what it is...and Xia Bai is just distal to the junction of the 4th

and 5th metacarpal bones...
