Guest guest
Oregano oil diluted in some other base-I like wheat germ oil, and sesame oil. Apply daily. Also of course hygiene- cotton socks, changing shoes etc, keep things dry to prevent fungus from growing. Does take a while. In my experience it's a good idea that they will file the nails down. ________________________________ turiyahill <turiya Monday, January 5, 2009 2:41:43 PM Toe Nail Fungus External Applcation I have a female patient with rather thick build up under all her toe nails. Guest guest
Often times Hua tuo Gao works well. Expect some peeling of the skin. Guest guest
Of all skin problems, toe nail fungus is one of the most stubborn. Many times the most strictest treatments will not work, although it is still worth trying as results can be seen. It is important to remember that the toe nail takes a year to fully regrow, which means that any successful treatment will need to be continued daily for least 4-6 months, the idea being to completely destroy the fungus. Often times it is important to treat the whole foot and not just the toe nail, as the fungus can be living in the tiny cracks between the toes, etc. A soak with pickling vinnegar (1 litre) and a whole clove of crushed garlic works as a simple and cheap method. Soak the feet for 15-20 mins every day. They can re-use the same soak for 10 days or so. Guest guest
Turiya, I have successfully used yincare on toenail fungus. Straight out of the bottle, several times a day. Just soaked the toenail, let it dry. Within a week, I could see improvement.. Within a month the fungus was gone.. There were no signs of DH or anything of the sort.. Just a nasty fungus that had been there for many years.. Best, Fernando , " turiyahill " <turiya wrote: > > I have a female patient with rather thick build up under all her toe > nails. Guest guest
Fernando How can you tell so quickly since it takes months for a new nail to grow
Guest guest
Well, in hindsight, maybe it took a little longer to grow than I remember..By the time I started using the yincare, most of the nail had been clipped back. It was lose and the toe was painful. But maybe it did take a little longer than a month... Either way, yincare was the only treatment I had done for the toe, except a couple of times I soaked in vinegar. But that was too much of hassle and the yincare was much easier... Thanks Alon for pointing this out..
