Guest guest
I wanted to share my experience treating uterine fibroids and a variety of gynecologic complaints with Dr. Joseph Yang's formula " Woman Flower " . Dr. Yang is a clinic supervisor at Emperor's and Yosan. He has been an invaluable mentor to me. This is his product description: " Chong Ren Qi and blood stagnation and deficiency, Chong Ren disharmony.Herbal characteristics: Harmonizing Qi and Blood and soothes the Chong and Ren channels to calm down the menstrual cramp pain in the lower abdomen and lower back. Relieves the tenderness of breast, chest and abdomen. Regulates liver Qi to help the emotion changes around the period. " I have dispensed several hundred bottles and found Woman Flower to be extremely versatile and well tolerated. Many patients are very enthusiastic about the benefits of this product and continue to reorder it even after they have stopped acupuncture treatment or have moved away from my office. Dr. Yang uses a variety medicinal flowers such as Yue Ji Hua, Mei Gui Hua, as well qi regulators and blood tonics. He explained to me that this flower approach is gentler for long term treatment of chronic and deficiency situations than a tao ren/hong hua dui yao for example. Although I am happy to share my own clinical experience, I would direct more technical formulation question to Dr.Yang himself. http://www.xiushantang.com/id6.html I dispense Woman Flower for variety of issues including amenorrhea following cessation of birth control. For PMS and menstrual pain, for example, I start the patient with a symptomatic approach, instruct her to start taking the herbs (3-5 pills TID) at the first subjective feeling of premenstrual tension (physical or emotional) and continue until the cessation of any discomfort. The results with this approach are generally very positive and the patients are enthusiastic for a sustained daily approach that is required for treating uterine fibroids and cysts. I also use the gamut of Dr. Yang's other formulas based on my patient's other issues and pattern differentiation. Guest guest
Funny, I thought this came from Yang Chu Higgins as well at first, but its was my old friend Mark instead... By the bottle 3 tid, and 100 caps should last a week. Dr. Yang's stuff is very good (the Defender V is a favorite here in LA for upcoming colds) but lets make sure we keep the advertising to a minumum here. ooopss. Thanks, Doug , mystir <ykcul_ritsym wrote: > > Hey Mr. Higgins, they look like good formulations. Guest guest
Could you post the herbs used in this formula? I'm interested in learning more about his strategy for mixed excess & deficient gyn conditions and I don't seem to be finding the formula ingredients online. Thanks in advance, Michelle N. Guest guest
I contacted the company requesting: 1- price list for practitioners 2- ingredients of the formulas 3- the number of tablets in a bottle I only received back a list of their products - the same list as it appears online - and Practitioner price at $144/box of a dozen. Questions 2 and 3 received no response. The fellow writing simply said the ingredients are listed on the bottle. So I called them again and talked to Joseph. He said they are in process of compiling a catalog for practitioners and he would try to send me pdf's of the formulas. Maybe if enough ppl called to request such info, he would be prompted to speed production on the catalog. ann On Feb 19, 2009, at 12:39 PM, wrote: > I have the ingredients in my office and will post them. > Doug > > , " Michelle N. Guest guest
There are 100 capsules per bottle. There was some wackiness at the office and I forgot to get the ingredients. Perhaps we can continue this conversation when I or someone else can post the ingredients. sorry about that, Doug , " A.
