Guest guest
The Database is pleased to announce the translation of the Annotated Biao You Fu (yang shi zhu jie): Indicating the Obscure translated by Herman Oving. The Biao You Fu is one of the nine fu's Yang Jizhou wrote commentaries on in scroll no. 2 in the Zhenjiu dacheng. The original fu is older (13th century). Some of the topics that are covered in this acupuncture and moxabustion translation are: Yin and Yang The five phases The twelve channels The fifteen network vessels Treatment and disease manifestation according to season Treatment according to heaven and earth Treatment according to the phase of the moon Things to observe before treatment The eight winds Root and branch Shu stream points Needling techniques The eight needling methods The fourteen methods of supplementing and draining There are still other subjects which are covered in this fu. You can read this translation at Chinese Medicine <http://Chinese Medicine/> . The Database is a grass roots organization of rs who are willing to pay a nominal subscription in order to read never before translated texts. We use the subscriptions of our users to fund every one of our translations. Translation of the Classical texts is a vastly expensive project, and something that no one person could afford to do alone. The philosophy behind the Chinese Medicine Database is that together, as an organized international group, we can afford to translate all of the source material from Chinese into English. Currently, we are able to translate a piece of new translation every month. As more and more people see the value of having access to the Classical texts (our source material), we are able to increase the amount of translation that we provide each month. Sincerely, L.Ac. The Database Chinese Medicine <http://Chinese Medicine/> All translations are presented bilingually in traditional Chinese and in English.
