Guest guest
Michael thanks for your Blog. Although I work as an LAc these days, I studied with MM for about a year in 1993. MM was one of the most brillant and hilarious people I have ever met. He was a great independent scholar and investigator in herbal medicine. He connected the dots between a vast array of information particles and found out what worked in the clinic. He developed an understanding of the physiological actions of medicinal plants. He created his own system of constitutional medicine. He was intensly invovled with the Local. The idea was that a working knowledge of plants in your area should be enuff to help most people in your area. His road trips, where 25 students would jump into cars and caravan across the country to study plants in their native habitat, were so much fun, they were probably illegal. He was never dull or pendantic. He was always wild and full of integrity. He wasn't for sale at any price. His medicine helped a lot of people. to his students he was known as the mothership.
