Guest guest
Has anyone seen an allergic reaction to Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin as a result of conchae haliotidis (shi jue ming) triggering a shellfish allergy?
Guest guest
Hi My understanding of shellfish allergies from living with someone who had them, is that it depends on what plankton the shellfish are feeding on. (she could occasionally get away with it at a time and place where tides were seasonal. Usually she became quite ill.) It should then only affect the organs of the fish, not the shells. But I haven't tried Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin on an allergic person. You might make it up without the shell and give minerals separately. David Winston says that he has never tested a batch of shells that didn't have high levels of lead. Karen S. Guest guest
I have a friend who has an allergic reaction just handling (i.e., cleaning) crustaceans. When he mentioned it to his MD, he said it was a sign of severe allergy to them and not to eat any. Evidently, even the shell could be dangerous for some people.
