Guest guest
Hi Mike, Im pretty sure you can get it from all distributors these days. We usually always have at least a few pounds in stock (ground). I know its very difficult to obtain in 5:1 powder as a stand alone, but is in the granule formula's as well. I hope this helps. Guest guest
FYI: it is not listed on our website and maybe true for other distributors as well. So if you use someone other than us, you might want to call them. Joey Bedrosian Info 866.222.2999 _____

So if you use someone other than us, you might want to call them. Do you have formulas with ma huang like Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang or Xiao Qing Long Tang? In a granule form? I didn't know that any companies were carrying ma huang in an extract form these days... Most of us still don't take the risk, and I don't think the FDA has changed their stance on the issue. The raw herb has always been available, though the big distributors don't always stock it. The fundamental law relates to the presence of ephedrine in dietary supplements (not allowed). Providing that health claims are not made, raw herbs aren't sold as dietary supplements so they aren't affected. I've also heard that CA may allow its use for licensed practitioners in doses that contain 25 mg or less of ephedrine per dose, but I can't confirm the details of this.
