Lupus

Hi everyone,

I just got my first lupus case. I am wondering if anybody has treated lupus and

what was the outcome.

50 yo male. Lupus for 10 years, prior he had RA but now they think that might

have been lupus as well. He is on steroids off and on, right now on. He was on

chemo for awhile. It was attacking his organs about 3 years ago which is why

they put him onchemo. Now its attacking his joints. The steroids help. He is

committed to 2 months of treatment, once a week. His digestion is okay, except

for the heartburn from the meds. He takes zantac 1x/day. he bruises easily.

His kidneys have lost 30% fx. No headaches or eye disturbances,

His tongue was red and peeled with patches that looked like cottage cheese. His

left pulse was forceful and his right was slippery. He shown a lot of signs of

yin xu. He is always stressed. the first treatment I had him do some deep

breathing, which was not that deep and talked to him about the importance of

calming his stress down. I think he was a little more relaxed after the first

session.

Any herb and supplement suggestions as well as acupuncture
