Guest guest
A patient asked me about the " Chinese herb bushen for osteopenia. " She read about it in an osteopenia newletter. I didn't find it in B & B. The patient tried a google search under that word and didn't come up with anything. Is 'bushen' just part of the name? Guest guest
Frances, Maybe she was referring to the pill: Rong Cong Bu Shen Wan, which strengthens Kidney Qi and Jing. Its ingredients are: Ba Ji Tian, Rou Cong Rong, Shu Di Huang, Tu Si Zi, Shan Yao, Wu Wei Zi and Gou Qi Zi. This formula seems to be a short variation of the formula Huan Shao Dan, as 6 of the 7 ingredients are part of that longer formula, only Tu Si Zi being missing. ________________________________ Frances L.
