Guest guest
Dear Della, To this question I have the answer. This described experience depends upon whether you treat the excess or the deficiency. Also if you channel qi from the surroundings (or yourself) to the patient. I have observed that most ingoing qi enter through the nose, and outgoing qi leave through the middle part of the body. So, if the patient feels tingling in the nose, you treat the deficiency, which is good and correct. If you treat the excess (painful areas, drain for pain), the patient may feel something in the middle of the body. This is not the good way, and must be labelled symptomatic treatment. Does anyone have either a traditional or biomedical explanation? Is this just me? Blessings all, Della (GuruRas)
