Guest guest
The link to the Hong Kong text database that I have seen is: http://www.chant.org You will have to be able to navigate in Chinese. I have been told the digitization is all the fancy in Hong Kong universities now. They all have projects, but this one is the most comprehensive (I'm told). An annual subscription costs $300 for individuals, but for institutions it costs $900. I got to play with it one day while visiting a friend who is a grad student, which is the only way I even knew about it. I don't think this particular database is great for medicine, but I did find some of the earlier unearthed medical texts and then some stuff from later (all of which can be found elsewhere). I think the CD-ROM that someone mentioned is a much better deal. , " d_munez " <d_munez wrote: > > I have spent the better part of my day going through Classical Chinese Medical Texts Vol II, and it is excellent. The text selections are great-most of them come from the Ling Shu and a lot of essential principles from the classics are covered. The grammar is getting more refined, with the author giving lots of detailed explanations and comparisons of different characters and how they are used. A great second addition to this series! I really hope to see more books like this in the future. > > Here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/ccmtvol2 > > David >
