Are Steve noted that Symphytum is NOT recommended for oral use at herbal doses because it can be hepatotoxic. I agree. But I suspect that Are is talking about HOMEOPATHIC doses. Is that correct Are? IMO, homeopathic doses of Symph should have no hepatotoxic effect, and in homeopathic theory, a known hepatotoxin would counteract liver toxicity in homeopathic doses.
