This may be a bit off topic in this forum as it has nothing to do with TCM.

However, it is health-related issue and we can always learn from others'

experiences.

Since 3 months ago, the health care system in Hong Kong has assigned 6 to 8 (not

sure) regional government clinics as specific flu clinics. Every patient with

flu symptoms reported there is subject to swine H1N1 testing. The authority

discloses the figure to the mass media on daily basis. Each day the confirmed

case of swine flu positive ranges from 400 to 600, about 80% of the tested

population. Of course there are other patients with flu symptoms go to see

private doctors and the number is estimated around 2000. It is reasonabley

concluded that 80% of them are swine H1N1 positive. It rounds up to 2000 swine

flu positive patients each day.

Simple mathematics.

As far as treatment is concerned, Chinese medicine can treat the flu symptoms

effectively especially at the early stage, regardless of whatever combinations

of Hx Nx. Most herbals are natural bacterial and viral killers.
