Guest guest
Hi everyone, Do you have a particular approach or product you use when helping a nursing mom who is struggling with Candida? Especially where breasts, belly & vaginal yeast are presenting. Thanks! Della MetroWest Whole Health metrowestwholehealth.com
Guest guest
A sugar free, low carb diet is essential. She needs to eat fermented foods that will outcompete the candida but cannot be further fermented by yeasts. The mother needs to deal with dampness and spleen qi deficiency most likely- what is her pattern? You can get gentian violet over the counter and use it for thrush- paint it on the inside of the baby's mouth and the nipples. Yin care works well for the vaginal candida. But you need to get rid of the dampness.
