Does anyone know of any free online calendars that one can use for

scheduling patients. For example, one that will allow patients to add/remove

themselves from your schedule and give them a reminder e-mail etc. Is anyone

using online booking?

(Sorry for the slightly off-topic post -- feel free to e-mail me privately

with responses)

Thanks in advance,

I think Google has a calendar function like that. Cloud computing. These things

always sounds good, don't know if its viable or reliable.

I think Office Ally's Practice Mate component allows this. It is a little

clunky though, and the interface doesn't seem all that easy at first blush. I

think patients hook in through Patient Ally and can see your schedule, and then

book a time. You are sent an email and " OK " the appointment. It is free, but

again I think the interface isn't great. They also offer a pay service where

they will send out appt reminders via phone and email I think. I saw this one

the other day: http://www.clickbook.net/, and it is supposed to be free. There

are lots of others for $$. I haven't tried any of them personally.

Hi jason,

We are experimenting with http://www.mindbodyonline.com/. So far so good. The

clinic I work in is very busy and it seems to be able to keep up. I also like it

because I can access it anywhere in the world.

I use Jappt and I pay for it. the free services are very basic, but they work if

you see all your patients for the same amount of time. the upgrade allows me to

have multiple practitioners and also different time slots for new and

established patients. also the other acupuncturist in the office sees patients

at a different pace than i do. we looked at genbook, which is visually nicer,

but they don't allow for repeating appts, which means the person who comes every

week at 11 am, you'd have to enter separately. so that was the deal breaker for

my assistant. there is also an ical export feature, but i don't know how to use

it exactly.

Jason- it's a no brainer. patients love it. not a week goes by that people

haven't booked themselves online. because when they can remember to do it, it's

10 at night. you can go to my website and and check it out if

you like

I use schedulicity.com, it made my life so much easier! The interface is very

straight forward and the patients can see all the available appointments and

book themselves. I get an e-mail and text each time someone schedules. It is

$29/month for one practitioner and $49 for up to 10 practitioners in the same

office.

Thanks everyone for the responses. It seems that I might bite the bullet and

pay a monthly fee. However, does anyone know if any of these services have

an iPhone app?

I really don't know much about it but I was under the impression that it

doesn't have that many features. For example, Can a patient sign up for a

slot (without logging into your account?) Will it send reminders?

Do you use it?
