Guest guest
I've noticed that Michael Tierra hasn't sounded off on the topic of Shilajit and I know he has been using it clinically for at least a decade. Any thoughts or experience to share Michael? Do you have any feedback on the various compounds that are made with it? As I recall, it is likely that one will find a product called Shilajit in commerce that will actually have a variety of products in it. ...org MARKETPLACE Going Green: Your resource for green living Mom Power: Discover the community of moms doing more for their families, for the world and for each other Switch to: Text-Only, Daily Digest • Un • Terms of Use .. _______________ Hotmail: Powerful Free email with security by Microsoft. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/171222986/direct/01/
Guest guest
I just bought a case of the shilajit that Bob Flaws recommended. While I've heard that one brand or another is good -- I've taken and recommended it as a matter of course but with a lot of other things that follow TCM pattern diagnosis so I could never identify what specifically if anything the Shilajit I've given was contributing to the treatment. What I do know, confirmed by Alan Tillotson's Nepalese doctor-teacher, the late Dr. Manas, is that Himalayan shilajit largely harvested in Nepal has been very difficult to obtain because it is a limited resource there and they have to climb higher and go to less available areas. Ayurveda regards shilajit as the ultimate panacea for everything and the virtual king of all tonics. It is black like the Rehmannia rich kidney tonics of TCM, it is mineral rich which we know have a particular affinity for the kidney-adrenals-hormones systems of he body. Based on Bob Flaws recommendation, who I'm inclined to have a lot of confidence in and after speaking with Joseph Wagner of Siddha energetics, I decided to buy a case of it and really get into prescribing and using it on myself and a number of clients. So I'll let you all know later. Sounds like this is high quality shilajit and that is very important. I know tat it naturally occurs in other high mountain ranges and have heard that it can be found in the Rocky mountains but thus far has never found its use in either indigenous or other natural therapies. I remember that a famous North American herb doctor (Dr. Shook) vociferously claimed that minerals were the primary nutritional benefit of most herbs. I tend to agree with that. Guest guest
I've also decided to buy some shilajit from Siddha Energetics and try it on myself. . . I'm convinced of its benefits from my studies of Ayurvedic and Tibetan materia medica.
