Guest guest
Dear group: As my book, Understanding the Jin Gui Yao Lue: A Practical Textbook has been published, I have just finished another book about the treatment of cancer with Chinese Medicinal Recipes and Qigong. Each year, thousands and thousands, universally, are hounded by cancer. I strongly believe Chinese medicine and Qigong can contribute a lot. I hope this group members can give me a hand to connect some publishers who might be interested in this book. I was told that Qigong and medicinal foods are getting popular in Europe, so please help me if you know some Europeans publishers. I list the table of contents here and any comments regarding the contents or publication issue is much appreciated. The working title: The Prevention and Treatment of Cancer: Chinese Medicinal Recipes and Qigong (with supplementary DVD) About this Book ƒÞ Reader-friendly, Cancer Patients¡¦ Guidebook Using medicinal foods and Qigong exercises as fundamentals to the patients¡¦ cancer treatment strategies ƒÞ Medicinal Food Therapy Easy-to-prepare, medicinal meals as food therapy, complete with: Recipes, Pharmaceutical ingredients, Medicinal actions of the herbal medicines used and High-resolution, appetizing photos of each dish ƒÞ Qigong Exercise Therapy A detailed discussion of the physiological mechanisms and therapeutic efficacy of Qigong, presented as an easy-to-follow explanation for patients to practice ƒÞ Acupuncture Therapy Acupuncture guide, compiled from evidenced-based research, complete with acupuncture points used in pain management and boosting immunity ƒÞ Supplementary How-To DVD Guides patients through Qigong exercises and medicinal dish preparations (3 sample dishes) This book is the first reader-friendly cancer patients¡¦ guidebook with instructional DVD, aimed at helping cancer patients through all stages of the disease to implement medicinal foods and Qigong exercises as fundamentals to cancer patients¡¦ treatment strategies. The complementary DVD guides patients through the preparations of medicinal meals and Qigong exercises, while the book explains in lay terms the pharmaceutical and therapeutic mechanisms of the herbal medicines and Qigong exercises. Unlike the overwhelming majority of texts written on the subject of cancer treatment through Chinese medicine and acupuncture, which are on the whole written for academics, physicians and medical students, this book gives patients and their loved ones a tangible, user-friendly guide to not only understand, but more importantly to put into practice Chinese medicinal food therapy and Qigong exercise therapy as fundamentals in the fight against cancer.
