Guest guest
A patient of mine recently had Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma right around acupuncture point yintang. She's had reconstructive surgery and it's healing pretty well. We've been doing massage, acupuncture and some internal herbs, but she's not consistent about taking internal herbs and would prefer a topical. Spring Wind's Cut and Sore ointment, a favorite of mine, is too aromatic and irritates her eyes. I generally feel like she'll be more compliant with a premade cream or ointment, not a wash (don't she'll cook raw herbs). Any suggestions? Maybe a high-quality pearl cream? The scars have healed over, no sutures any more (she's almost 3 months post-surgery), but are still red. No signs of infection. Her general pattern is qi/blood xu with dampness (digestive issues, hx reflux and IBS dx). Thanks, Sarah Rivkin

Guest guest
Thanks, Joey, And gentle enough to not irritate eyes? The scars from the incisions are at yintang and wrap under the eye fairly close to the inner canthus. --Sarah , " Golden Needle " <thornedist wrote: > > Hi Sara, > > > > I have had really good luck using this for scar tissue; We are not the only > distributors who carry it. > > > > https://www.goldenneedleonline.com/index.php?page=products2 & letter=T & pg= & id= > 4496 > > > > Be well, > > Joey Bedrosian > > > > > _____ > > > On Behalf Of Sarah > Tuesday, January 19, 2010 12:19 PM > > topical for scar healing that won't irritate eyes? > > > > > > A patient of mine recently had Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma right > around acupuncture point yintang. Guest guest
absolutely; in fact, i just put some on me from yintang to inner canthus and it is fine. has a very mild scent of lanolin. not enough to cause irritation and certainly milder than spring wind.
