We have received many requests for this service, and we are happy to finally be able to provide this wonderful opportunity to learn about Tibetan Medicine from anywhere in the world. Friday, February, 5th, 2010 7-9pm EST Topic: Properly Harvesting and Processing Herbs in Tibetan Medicine In the Tibetan tradition all herbs are considered medicine, but there are a number of guidelines on how to properly harvest and process them. These include the location where they are picked, the correct time to pick, and how to detoxify, dry, store, and prepare the herbs as medicine. Direct causes include diet, behavior, emotional problems, season, and provocation. The Indirect cause is attachment. In this talk Dr. Wangmo will explore how mental diseases are considered in the field of Tibetan Medicine.
