If you only own one Shang Han Lun book, this is it. If you own more than one SHL book, you definitely need this one in the collection. The commentary and translation is fantastic. The depth of scholarship in this book is the model for all translated classical texts. Guest guest
The Wiseman/Mitchell/Ye text is essential. The SHL Explained/Marchment/Young text is also excellent, but I suggest it as a counterpart to the Wiseman/Mitchell/Ye SHL. . I have both. Guest guest
If I had one to buy it would be the Greta Young. Without knocking the Ye/Mitchell I like the Explained aspect of it much better.
