New McCain Law can affect dietary supplements

Hola Herbalistas,

 

Here in the US, Senator John McCain is introducing a bill that would add

some responsibility to those of us engaged in the sales of herbal medicines

(dietary supplements.) I haven't tracked down how much this would affect

private practitioners, but inflammatory websites are already describing it

as The End of The World.

 

The most credible author on the topic that I've found is Michael McGuffin,

executive director of AHPA, the American Herbal Products Association.

 

He's created a bull-pointed document that describes some of the proposed
