Go here and order THE ORANUR EXPERIMENT. There are some good Reichian

Orgone related too. I have some of Jurgen Fischer's material

translated into English somewhere if you're interested.

There's a nuclear reactor leaking radioactive tritium into the ground

water about 30 miles from my house. I'm pretty concerned about that,

especially since there are still a lot of people in powerful places

who are dead set on keeping that nuclear reactor running for another

40+ years, even though it is scheduled to be decommissioned in 2012,

and even though it is already leaking NOW.

I've been getting involved in the local political scene around this

issue, although most of what I find myself talking to other concerned

citizens about is the concept of clinical results in activism. Being

right, and especially " being right " boldly and self-righteously, does

not get good clinical results. Legislators who were genuinely

interested in learning more about the issues are totally turned off by

the strident tones of voices used. Our inability to demonstrate that

we are listening to the concerns of the opposition leads to their

being unwilling to listen to our concerns. Worst of all, but most

rampant, they are insulted by the implication that if they don't agree

with us they must be stupid.

Why would anyone with self-respect listen to anyone who is insulting,

even by implication?

I think that frequently in the passion of expressing our vision, it is

easy to forget that we are being insulting by implication. It is easy

to convey, perhaps mistakenly, that we are so sure we are right that

we have no ears to hear what others have to say. I think it is much

easier to get good clinical results in our expressions of viewpoint if

we begin with common ground and common concerns, and invite each other

to stretch from there, step by step, into what might be less clear-cut

territory.

One old traditional Ayurvedic doctor went to visit the Chernobyl region to help

the local population with radiation side effects. His recommendation to the

whole community was Suvarna Siddha Ghrit- aka ghee infused with gold. He would

have the people make ghee from the local cows, and then infuse the gold into it,

and it was quite effective for many of the side effects of radiation exposure.

Hope that helps.

Back in 1975 or so, I was a proud member of the affinity group, the Miso Hornets

of the Clamshell Alliance. (I know Western Mass too!)

It was our belief that Miso helped detoxify radiation.

Uh, thanks--- cool--- how does one do an infusion of gold into

ghee? Gold dust? Any ideas on how to get that, and how much is

needed? With an ingredient like that, correct dosage is a financially

critical issue!

Interesting, I read about the nuclear reactor in the NY Times this morning. . .

but they didn't mention the leak, just how people are fighting over real estate

properties and salaries going down if the plant closes.

My mother's friend survived the Hiroshima bombings in Japan as a child... she

told me the local healers at the time were using an herb called " dokudami " to

cure radiation poisoning. Dokudami is the japanese name for yu xing cao.

Not sure about tritium, but radiation toxicity is becoming a big issue. I just

wrote a paper on this recently with Dr. Leon Hammer which can be accessed here:
