Guest guest
Well, the long-awaited translation and extensive (I mean expensive) commentary on Li Shi-Zhen's " An Exposition of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels " is finally out. Charles Chace, Miki Shima, and Eastland Press have done an excellent job with this text. I highly recommend it - I can't stop reading it. http://www.eastlandpress.com/books/an_exposition_on_the_eight_extraordinary_ vessels_acupuncture_alchemy_and_herbal_medicine.php Enjoy, -Jason Acupuncture
Guest guest
Thanks for the alert Jason. I've looked at the sample and it looks like a book we certainly want to have in our library. It's a pity, though, that Eastland announces: <<This is the first English translation of Li Shi-Zhen's Exposition on the Eight Extraordinary Vessels.>> Arnoud Versluys published a translation of the text on cm-db.com (Jonathan Schell's Database), it has been available for a couple of years.
