Guest guest
I'm looking for a source for this patent formula - Xing Jun San (Marching Powder), Five Pagodas Brand that is listed in Will Maclean's Handbook. I've only found a couple of shady google links when searching for it online. It's for dislodging deeply entrenched damp/phlegm in the digestive tract. Guest guest
Geoff, what's inside of it? maybe you could just put concentrate powders together, if you can't find the prepared rx. Then, you'll know that the quality of herbs have a high standard too. Doesn't Will Maclean's book give percentages along with ingredients? btw.. that's a great book. Guest guest
John - It's a mystery.... the formula is not in the back of the book. There is one synonymous formula in vol. 2, but he says it is not the same formula. I would be happy to mix it up, but have no idea what is in it, but the indications are exactly what I need for a few patients. To paraphrase from vol 2 - if Sp Xu patients with diarrhea get worse after using something like shen ling bai zhu san, then deeply lodged dampness may impeding treatment. Xiang Jun San can powerfully disperse dampness to unfetter the spleen. Guest guest
Hi John, Nice catch! I'm sure it's that second formula you mentioned. I'll definitely look at encapsulation as drinking menthol.. yummy! Thanks, Geoff , <johnkokko > I have this book...pg. 54 1st edition > It's different then the one above: > 100 gms of powder contains: > > Hou po 11.8 gms > Chuan xiong 9.3 gms > Cang zhu 9.3 gms > Huo xiang 7.1 gms > Chen pi 7.1 gms > Ding xiang 7.1 gms > Mu xiang 7.1 gms > Chen xiang 7.1 gms > Gui zhi 7.1 gms > Gan cao 4.8 gms > Menthol 4.7 gms > Shi chang pu 3.5 gms > Bai zhi 3.5 gms > Bo he 3.5 gms > Ling ling xiang 3.3 gms > Xi xin 2.3 gms > Bing pian 1.4 gms > > > K >
