CELEBRAL PALSY

Has anyone ever worked with a patient that had brain surgery thus

causing cerebral palsy. The surgery was on the right side of the head

starting at the temple going in front of the ear circling to full side

of head just below crown, hitting all 3 speech areas. Child is 5

years old, doesn't speak, can scream, cry , etc.., no recognizable

sounds as words, not toilet trained, very flexible in all limbs (lots

of physiotherapy), blind in right eye, 50% in left, unstable gait,

much more balanced after acupuncture..

Drools, frustrated, can recognize colours, depth perception, copy ,

mimic motions, hearing is excellent, head and ears very sensitive,

doesn't like anyone touching him there. has anyone had anything like

this?? surgery (at 4 days old) was because of clot on brain at birth,

also had stroke.

When I did my acupuncture training in our affiliated hospital of TCM U, there

were plenty of celegral palsy patients being treated. They were all over in the

hallway outside the treatment rooms, walking (assisted and encouraged by their

families) or being held (under 3) while the needles remaining on their head.

 

The recovery depends upon when the probelm starts. I saw case vision was

retrieved after intensive acupuncture treatment (I still kept the snapshots of

the treatment). I also witnessed herbal medicine retrieved the patient (aged 10

after high fever) totally. The patients had drools, bitting anything trying to

touch him, disobedience, did not sleep at night, etc. It took more than a year .

 

In your case, you have to be hurry before the vision nerves die out.
