Guest guest
Hi All, Ignore this mail if you have a " Google Translate " Icon on your WWW browser Toolbar. A " Google Translate " Icon is a useful facility on your toolbar. It allows you to translate any URL (or block of copied text) from one language to another. Your browser Toolbar is the line or space just below the address box at the top of your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox / Opera, etc). To put a " Google Translate " Icon on your toolbar: Method (1) Click on http://translate.google.com/ Select the language that you most often may need to translate, for example to translate from Chinese to English. Copy the URL in your browser address box [top of your browser] and Drag the address to your toolbar. This automatically places a " Google Translate " Icon on your toolbar. In future, if you need to translate an URL or block of copied text, copy the URL [or block of text] and click on the Google Translate Icon. Paste the URL or text into the big Translate box and click on the Translate button. Note that machine translations, especially from oriental [character- based] languages, cannot match the accuracy of professional translations. Therefore, for a better translation, copy the Google-translated text into special commercial translation software for further refinement. This copies the original text [for example Chinese], interspersed sentence by sentence with the " translation " . Method (2): A handier way is to install a Google Toolbar onto your Browser Toolbar automatically. To do this, click on http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_toolbar/ and select the correct option for your browser [Firefox or IE]. Google Toolbar has a translation facility that detects the URL and language automatically. Unfortunately, it does NOT allow translation of copied text, nor does it retain / intersperse the ORIGINAL text. Therefore,Method (1) is better than Method (2) for more accurate translations of URL data and copied text, Best regards,
