Guest guest
Hi > Phil- Do you know I this study was done on guang fangji or han fangji? > And what species of mutong are we talking about? However, this was a huge survey (>200,000 people) in Taiwan and the data showed a clear statistical increase in risk of KI failure as Fangji cumulative amount exceeded 60g. My understanding is that, after the AA-related deaths confirmed in western countries, ethical importers have eliminated the worst of the AA-contaminated herbs and formulas. Today in EU states, herbs like Fangji, Mutong, Xixin etc are certified as low to negligible in AA and should pose little risk of AA toxicity if bought from ethical importers.
