Guest guest
Questionnaire from Gary, New Member, follows here: What is your name or what may we call you? Gary How long have you been a vegetarian, or how long have you been interested in vegetarian cookery? Vegetarian (ova-lacto) since January 1, 1999, just shy of 5.5 years. What country are you in now? USA What city or town? Dublin, CA (SF East Bay Area) What age are you (just roughly, very roughly!)? 52 Why did you join this group (apart from receiving an invitation! *lol*)? Saw it mentioned in feralvegetarian and I like spicy food. What kinds of foods interest you most? Um, vegetarian, spicy. I like regular stuff, salads and Boca Burgers and corn on the cob. I like Thai, spicy Chinese, Indian, Ethiopian Mexican and innumerable other things. I'm not very fond of spargle. Is there anything you'd like to tell the group? Nothing in particular. I grow peppers in the summer. This year I have a couple of habanero plants, cayenne, Thai, jalapeno, serrano and another one which I can't remember at this moment. I have one tomatillo plant. We grow many herbs. We grow tomatoes. We grew peas, lettuce, celery, beans and carrots this year too. I have one pumpkin plant and one melon plant. They're just flowering now. Also some cucumber vines but no cucumbers yet. This page has links to pictures of the garden. <http://www.amelor.com/garden/garden.html> Mainly there are pictures of flowers. Guest guest
Hi Gary ;=) Hope you enjoy this list - just started, but off to a *great* beginning, we think! I see you are interested in Ethiopian food. I don't suppose by an chance you know how to make that wonderful bread, do you? I've only had Ethiopian food a few times myself, strangely, but enjoyed it thoroughly and am searching for recipes ;=) Just a thought. Anyway, whether or not, welcome!
