Guest guest
Hi GF, I am here )) Unfortunately I eat meat.. BUT.. I tried not to eat and I felt kind of bad (like a drug addict). Is that a natural reaction? I like tofou and soy very much and I usually eat these stuffs when I can instead of meat. (Sorry for my English.. I am not a native speaker as you might already know..) Is that a natural reaction? I’ve cut meat out of my diet several times, starting when I was about 10 yrs old. Until this time, I never managed to do it successfully; I always got sick. So, you’re not the only one it’s happened to. The difference for me, this time, is that I took the time to educate myself about HEALTHY vegetarian eating and nutrition in general. I learned where to get protein and iron without eating meat. I consciously added those foods to my diet, rather than just eating as I always did but leaving out the meat. It can be done, and it can be a great change to make if you do it right. Enjoying a variety of yummy foods (including the spicy ones!) and varying your menus is important, so that you’re getting everything your body needs. Talk to a nutritionist or dietician if you have the opportunity. I’m sure you’ll find lots of encouragement and great recipes here.
