Guest guest
If you haven't tried the Vegan version of Chorizo ...do it! It's call SOYRIZO and it's great to spice up a dish or just spread on a cracker. Here's what I like to do w/it: In a hot pan that you have added olive oil to..place the Soyrizo in and crumble so as to sautee'. (you of course have to take it out of the casing first.) Toss in chopped scallions/black olives/a dash of Tabasco and anything else you find interesting that's lying around. Add precooked brown rice and toss to saute'...then add a can of drained chili beans.(option is to add dk red kidney or black beans for added protein. Remember the darker the bean the more protein). Nuke a flour tortilla of your flavor enough just to warm it and add the Soyrizo mixture on top. Roll and serve. You may as well grab a fork...you'll need it. You can top it or leave it plain as is. Either way it's great!
