Guest guest
Hi - I didn't post the soyrizo thing but I think I can answer some of this for now: > I saw you mentioned soyrizo ? > Is that like a premixed thing ? My understanding is that it is a preprepared faux 'sausage' - but made of soy and flavoured to taste like chorizo. You'd find them, I suppose, alongside all those other fake/faux 'meats' like pretend chikken, soyburgers, etc. Just need warming up, I understand, and convenient for those who like to use them. > Or is there such a thing as a vegetarian casing when it comes to making these things??? If it says vegetarian, I imagine you can trust the casing, whatever it's made of, not to be from animals. I haven't seen the product myself, but I do know that soy sausages in other brands have fake casings on them. Don't suppose this helps much. sigghhhh. I tried *lol* Best, gf/Pat

The casing is made from vegetable materials. I wrote the company and asked to make sure b4 buying it since it doesn't say on the label.
