Guest guest
1. What is your name or what may we call you? Mike Borg 2. How long have you been a vegetarian, or how long have you been interested in vegetarian cookery? I've been vegetarian for about 7 years, and just made the switch to veganism two weeks ago. 3. What country are you in now? USA 4. What city, town or region? San Jose, CA 5. What age are you (just roughly, very roughly!)? 30 6. Why did you join this group (apart from receiving an invitation! *lol*)? I enjoy spicy food (although I can't handle nearly as much heat as my wife can), and would love a resource for some good vegan recipes. 7. What kinds of (vegetarian) foods or cuisines interest you most? In the past I have been mostly a " junkfood vegetarian " , but would like to eat healthier. I am not all that excited about having to cook more, though, so quick, easy recipes will help me the most. 8. Is there anything you'd like to tell the group? Thanks for the invite! " But no doubt the first man that ever murdered an ox was regarded as a murderer; perhaps he was hung; and if he had been put on his trial by oxen, he certainly would have been; and he certainly deserved it if any murderer does. Go to the meat-market on a Saturday night and see the crowds of live bipeds staring up at the long rows of dead quadrupeds. Does not that sight take a tooth out of the cannibal's jaw? Cannibals? Who is not a cannibal? I tell you it will be more tolerable for the Feejee that salted down a lean missionary in his cellar against a coming famine; it will be more tolerable for that provident Feejee, I say, in the day of judgment, than for thee, civilized and enlightened gourmand, who nailest geese to the ground and feastest on their bloated livers in thy pate-de-foie-gras.
