Actually, in our experience (Hong Kong and Taiwan -- not mainland),

what we think of as Chinese really is Chinese. Except they introduce

all those animal foreign body parts....

I use a non-GMO, non-hydrogenated " margerine " called Earth Balance. I

usually get it at Whole Foods. Someone told me that it is also

available at least at one of the regular grocery chains in this area

(south Florida) - Publix.
