Guest guest
i use the term flesh to describe any " meat " that comes from a dead animal. As a lacto-ovo vegetarian i have found it to help clarify to non-vegetarians what it is my diet consists of, or doesn't consist of, especially given that i still eat animal products~ milk, eggs, and honey. i never use it to offend anyone, and i am quite certain it wasn't used by the mods here to offend anyone. It is just a clear word to describe a type of thing some people eat or choose not to eat. Nuts are called meat, so one can see why flesh is a more clear term in regards to animal meat. Just my 2 cents. Best, Pat ;=)
