Guest guest
Kevin Thanks for the inspiration to make my own tempeh incubator from your photos. I actually saw human infant incubators used once for the job, but the tall blue thermos box you converted looks cool as well. And your tempeh blocks look so perfect and appetizing! You have real food prep talent!! I found a local place to order my tempeh culture- http://www.gemcultures.com another cool fungi place is Paul Stamets business, the cutting edge of mycology: http://www.fungiperfecti.com That guy has so many ideas. Eating fungi must make you brilliant! I heard him speak at the Bioneers conference. A true hero of mine. Abattoirs could soon be converted to Tempeh factories! I actually don't consume much tempeh now that I'm 45. I really don't crave protein like I used to. So perhaps i can pass on my extra tempeh to my friends. Guest guest
Mike, Thanks. The Igloo thermos I use only costs $12, and it does work great. Here is where I have purchased starter off and on over the years: http://www.healthy-eating.com/soy_foods.html#tempeh But I tend to make my own starter as it is so easy to do. I'm working on that instruction manual... Kevin ********* > Kevin > > Thanks for the inspiration to make my own tempeh incubator from your photos.
