Guest guest
> Didn't mean to strike up a debate here Weren't you? I think maybe I was! LOL Debate's fine here ;=) It could have been a bit like argument, though. We get a lot of that out there in the big bad world LOL and I was just trying to remind that there were other issues for some than 'suffering'. that's all. No prob then or now ;=) Suppose science could grow meat, though, in a petrie dish - wouldn't it be kinda expensive??? Can't see the point - why not just make something else *taste* like meat (for those who like it)??? That should keep everyone happy and save the health issue too. Just a thought! >I am purely in an objective > learning mode and trying to better understand the vegetarianism > landscape, that's all. It is an interesting one - with all kinds of rocky outcrops, gentle valleys, impenetrable woods, murmuring streams and roaring torrents LOL We like living here! Some even dwell on the mountain top!!! > My apologies if I inadvertently struck a nerve... Dunno if you did. Not one of mine, anyway. ;=) 'course most of em have long since died on the vine. > Here's my favorite Popeye quote, " I ain't no doctor, but I got a lot > of patience. " Gotta love that Popeye - what he did for spinach and Superman did for spectacles and dressup . . . . But you did read my next post, didn't you??? Hope so. It followed directly on this one that you are answering here. I think I explained there what it was I meant to say. 'course, I may be thinking something else by now, a day later - talk about open-minded!!!! Best love, Pat ;=)
