Yes, you're right...it's very expensive...if it ever did happen that they started making meat in the lab, I bet the initial price would be pretty outrageous! All I keep thinking about is those scifi movies where they pop in a card and out pops these litte cubes that are supposed to be your meat, veggies, and dessert...LOL Even as a scientist, I'd rather just stick to the real thing...and I also think part of that is because I'm a lazy scientist and cell culture is just way too much work for dinner!
