Guest guest
That would be great. I know many folks on this list love hot sauce. Maybe some day you will be running your own business selling your recipe in bottles! Our other moderator, Shawn, is quite the connoisseur of chilies peppers and hot sauces! ~ PT ~ People think love is an emotion but love is good sense. ~ Ken Kesey ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~> , " Scott Turner " <sturner@t...> wrote: > I will try to remember the recipe tomorrow and share with the group. > > lately I am always trying to create the best hot sauce I have ever tasted and once I do perfect my recipe I am going to start bottling it on a larger scale. But my latest is the best so far. The down side is that it uses some seasonal ingredients. > > Anyway - till tomorrow > > > Scott
Guest guest
1 lime, juiced 3 Tbsp white vinegar 1 tsp salt 4 Habaneros, seeded and stemmed 1 small sweet onion 1 Tbsp vegetable oil 1 cup carrots, chopped 2 cups water Mix lime juice, vinegar and salt. Allow habaneros to soak in mixture at least 20 minutes. In medium hot pan, saute onions in vegetable oil until they are clear and soft. Add the carrots and water, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until carrots are soft, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Place all ingredients in blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
