1. What is your name or what may we call you?

Please call me Aurora, it is my nickname, as well as my professional

name. It means " Bright Light " .

 

2. How long have you been a vegetarian, or how long have you been interested

in vegetarian cookery?

I was born to be a vegetarian, I didn't even like meat as a kid. However, it

was difficult for me until I learned to cook vegetarian dishes myself, about

12 years ago. I was married to a guy from India, who also liked to cook, and

I learned a lot during that time, including going to India myself to study

the different methods of food preparation there.

Since that time, I became a Chef, gave that up, but still prefer to cook

everything from scratch, using NO chemicals. That's my big thing!

 

3. What country are you in now?

I live in the United States

 

4. What city, town or region?

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico

 

5. What age are you (just roughly, very roughly!)?

I'm 40ish

 

6. Why did you join this group (apart from receiving an invitation! *lol*)?

If you're talking about spicy food, you're talking about the only way I

know how to cook! New recipes that are vegetarian would also be enjoyable,

and I have some to share myself.

 

7. What kinds of (vegetarian) foods or cuisines interest you most?

I cook East Indian, Chinese, and Mexican/New Mexican. So I guess, well,

whatever's spicy!

 

8. Is there anything you'd like to tell the group?

Thanks for the invitation to join, I look forward to all the wonderful

dishes we will enjoy together.
