Guest guest Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 the following is my most favourite " snack " in all of creation! ;o) the last time i had it was at the wedding celebration of my brother-in-law, in bangalore, india...i was 7 months pregnant and sitting cross-legged on a stony floor and VERY uncomfortable...until i was served this. THEN!! then everything seemed ever so much lighter, happier, nicer, etc., etc. it was worth all the discomfort, heat, and not knowing anyone who was there...that's how wonderful this dish is!!!!! --and ever so easy to make, too! Kosambari Ingredients Soaked moong dal/Chana dal - 1 cup Green chiliies(finely chopped) - 1 Finely chopped cilantro - 2 tbsp Lemon Juice - 2 tsps Fresh grated coconut - 1/4 cup Salt to taste Preparation Mix the above ingredients in the salad bowl.
