ADMIN: Unsubscribing from List - Proglems ;=(

Some of you may know that has been having some technical

problems (from our point of view) - they may be upgrading ;=) In any event, it

means that sometimes those who from some lists - not all - and

not all rs - have problems because they keep receiving mail

many days (in my case, on one list, several weeks!) after unsubbing.

 

It isn't deliberate on 's part. They are trying to fix things. And there's

nothing we can do but wait it out ;=(

 

May I make a suggestion? If you want to (but please don't - we

love you all!) on *any* list right now, go to your membership options on

the webpage (it says [edit my membership] in the upper right corner) and

change your delivery options to NoMail. Then wait. Once you are not

receiving messages any more, . Otherwise you could get caught

up in this crazy thing that they and we cannot put right. It still could

take

several days, though.

 

There's another way: instead of doing that, by email. Send a

blank message (no sig, no nothing ;=)) to:

(or whatever name of the group it is you're needing to leave for a while)

 

That works faster for some reason! That's what I did to *finally* get me off a

group that seemed not to be letting go of me for weeks and weeks (very

flattering, I'm sure, but totally unintentional on anyone's part LOL). That

should

work in a few hours.
