Recipe: Spicy Hummus

5 ounces canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed (reserve 1 tsp. liquid)

1 tsp. sesame tahini

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tsp. lemon juice

1/4 tsp. olive oil

1/4 tsp. Ground Cumin Seed

1/4 tsp. Cilantro

1/8 tsp. Ground Red Cayenne Pepper

Ground White Pepper

3/4 tsp. parsley, minced

 

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Use 1 tsp.

bean juice to moisten, if necessary. Process until smooth.

That sounds delicious! I've made similar... have you tried " green

curry paste " with it? .. it's delicous too. (green curry paste found

at Asian market... Thai.. contains chili, garlic,onion, lemon-

grass,salt, spice, galingale.)
